TEXAS RESPONSE TO WINTER STORM URI
This report details the many causes that led to the systemic failures experienced in the Texas electric grid during the winter storm beginning February 14, 2021 (commonly known as Uri). These historic winter storms caused a massive electricity generation failure throughout a large part of the State of Texas, which led to critical shortages of electricity, food, and water.
